Leading with purpose
As Chief Executive Officer of Leeds Rhinos, Jamie Jones-Buchanan leads the club with a deep sense of responsibility and pride.
With over 400 appearances across a 22-year playing career, Jamie is more than a former player; he’s a prime example of the club’s values in action.
Having previously served as ‘Head of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion’, Jamie helped celebrate a culture that reflects the rich diversity of the Rhinos community. His vision as CEO is grounded in the belief that rugby league can be a force for social good, and that the Rhinos can lead by example both on and off the pitch.
Rhino's Foundation
Changing lives through the power of sport is at the heart of both the club and the Foundation.
The Foundation acts as the club’s vehicle for delivering social value and is a vital connection point with local authorities and communities.
Determined to pay forward the opportunities he received throughout his sporting career, Jamie served as a trustee for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.
Initially bridging the gap between players and the organisation, Jamie became a highly valued board member, offering his own unique insight and perspective deliver projects in the heart of the community until his term ended at the end of April 2025.
He is also a passionate and genuine advocate for the Foundation’s work and truly embodies its strapline: “Changing lives through the power of sport.”
