Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE is a former professional rugby league player turned pundit, listener, storyteller and community advocate with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Representing Leeds Rhinos for over two decades during what’s known as the club’s ‘golden generation’, Jamie made over 400 appearances and was part of a team that won seven Super League titles, three world club challenges, three League Leaders and a Challenge Cup during his sporting career.

Today, Jamie’s mission goes far beyond his time on the pitch. From the South Stand at Headingley Stadium to the Rhinos boardroom, Jamie is a living example of how the Leeds Rhinos “change lives through the power of sport”.  

 

He is driven by a passion is to pay forward the gracious gift of opportunity given to him by sport and the people of Leeds.

 

His strategy is in “a philosophy of becoming” allowing a values-based compass to set the direction of travel endeavouring to do the right thing, in everything he does, rooted in his Christian faith.  

 

His Joy is in seeing the people of Leeds, individuals of all ages and abilities to find their gift and realise their potential.
